The vision for New Life Christian Center is to get people involved with doing the works of Jesus
To reach the lost and strengthen family units
To teach God’s word to help believers line their lives up with the word and receive God’s best for their lives. Therefore, we do life and not church
To educate believers to become strong Christians through media and various teaching material
Statement of Faith | What We Believe
About God
God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three personalities: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These there are coequal and are one God.
About Man
Man is made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. He is the supreme object of God’s creation. Although man has tremendous potential for good, he is marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called sin. This attitude separates man from God.
About Eternity
Man was created to exist forever. He will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is hell. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life. Heaven and Hell are places of eternal existence.
About Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is coequal with the Father. Jesus lived a sinless life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all men by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven’s glory and will return again to earth to reign as King of Kings, and Lord of Lords.
About Salvation
Salvation is a gift from God to man. Man can never make up for his sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can man be saved from sin’s penalty. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith.
About the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son as God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. The Christian seeks to live under His control daily.
About the Bible
The Bible is God’s word to tell all men. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. The Bible is inspired by God; it is truth without any mixture of error.
Pastor’s Bios
Pastor Andrew Singletary
On September 18, 1988, Pastor Andrew and Cheryl Singletary founded New Life Christian Center in a hotel in Durham, North Carolina with 8 people in attendance on that day. God has greatly increased the ministry since then. New Life Christian Center is one of the fastest growing churches in the Research Triangle area and is located at 7415 Fayetteville Rd near The Streets at Southpoint Mall.
Pastor Singletary is a pastor and a Bible teacher who is known for his straightforward teaching of the Word of God. He believes that the greatest need in the Body of Christ today is for believers to be established and rooted in the teaching of the Word of God.
Pastor Singletary is also anointed to teach men how to be good husbands.
Along with his pastoral responsibilities, Pastor Singletary produces the “Prevailing Word” which is a weekly television program and ministers around the world.
Pastor Singletary is mission-minded. He ministers the gospel in continents such as Africa, Asia, North America, Europe, South America, and Australia.
Pastor Singletary is the author of (3) books: Conquering The Flesh, Faith The Key To Life, and Being Established In The Things Of God.

Pastor Cheryl Singletary
Pastor Cheryl Singletary is Pastor Singletary’s anointed partner in the Ministry. She is known for teaching the Word of God so that it is practical to apply to everyday life. Her teaching causes saints to grow up in Christ and overcome circumstances that arrive if they apply the Word to their lives.
She is a counselor to many and a great example to women in the church through her lifestyle. She is also the head of God’s First Class Women’s Ministry, a ministry that reaches the needs of women. She is a people person, she loves people.
Pastor Cheryl and Pastor Singletary have an adult daughter and son.
Pastor Cheryl is the author of (2) books: God’s First Class Woman and Women Who Can Stand the Pressure
